#1 — 💥 If we don’t tackle GHG emissions in these 15 non-obvious countries, we’re screwed.
Tackling climate change is not just about the US, China, and the EU.
Duh, right? 🙄
But did you know of the importance of these 15 countries (below), “home to nearly one-fifth of the global population, that may drive a [GHG] emissions wave over the next two decades akin to what China produced during the last two decades.”
However, “investment is not flowing to these countries at the type or level needed to demonstrate and scale low-carbon development strategies.”
No investment. No change. No hope of hitting our climate goals. 👎

Why does food and agriculture matter when it comes to climate change?
Because these sectors produce 19–29% of total GHG emissions.
Below is a teaser from AgFunderNews on the biggest capital raises in these sectors last year. Click here to see other rest.

Listen to his recent podcast with legendary strategy coach, Dan Sullivan.
Other sound bites include:
“[ChatGBT is similar to the historic invention of electricity, first lighting up those city block in New York City.]”
“ChatGBT will make productive people more productive, and unproductive people more unproductive.”
#5 — 🤫 Don’t just do something. Sit there.
This contrarian quote comes from the legendary Buddhist leader and teacher of mine,* Thich Nhat Hanh.
Recent research shows that when we’re silent and not running around like caffeinated rats, our brains are often “actively connecting thoughts and experiences” based on “information from the senses and from elsewhere in the brain and link[ing] it all together, in potentially novel ways."
As Billy Oppenheimer puts it: “Doing nothing promotes creativity.”
To be clear…
I’m not advocating for sitting still all day, but I do have a hammock in my office. 🌴
Occasional periods of rest and silence might just produce the business or personal insights that we’ve been chasing. 💡

Thanks to Billy for this goodie. He’s a writer and researcher for Ryan Holiday, a fan of Entrepreneurs for Impact (actually it’s just unidirectional, me to him) and author of:

* OK, to be fair, he wasn’t aware he was my teacher. I only stayed in his monastery in France for a week and read four of his books.
That’s all, y’all.
Make it a great week, because it’s usually a choice.
Cheers,
Chris
